zomg Furry Trading Cards! Go check it out.

Normal Board Rules (UPDATED 14th March 2010):

The oekaki theme is Sonic/Furries, please keep pictures within the theme. (If you're unsure, contact an admin!)

Please spend at least 30 minutes on pictures for the normal board. Pictures must be at least 200x200 pixels. (if you're worried you can't make it have a go on the practice board)

Try and finish WIPs, old unfinished ones may be deleted.

Mark violent and R rated pictures as adult.

Try and keep drama to a minimum. (Try to resolve the issue in PM's or contact an admin for help)

When to contact an Admin:

- When you have an issue with being copied. Do not attempt to deal with it yourself, you may be at risk of punishment for flaming.
- When chatroom conversations launch into flamewars, are 'trolled' or spammed, or contain overly sexual content (please include a copy of the discussion). New: Please note that the chatroom is shared between all boards, so avoid posting sexual content regardless of which board you are on at the time.
- When you feel another user is harrassing you, or attacking you unfairly through PM.

No, we don't bite. Please be aware that we can't be online 24/7, though, and so it may take a while to get to your PM.

Alrighty I desided to do a simple tutorial no clue if it will help anyone but eh if it does then it was worth the time hehe oh speaking of time the timer is off by like forever I got stuck and so I left it on my comp for a wile lol like a day or 2

ah plenty of mistaes in it but you all will live

view the animation for the tutorial and ignore my typos and lack of punctuation lol

oh yeah final question whats the data size limit on here it's 500KB right I want to know so I can be sure if I have to hold back on details and stuff

Wow...o_o This...is....amazing. Nicole, I love your art! Your shading is so well done, and the texture of his fur ACTUALLY looks real! And his (cape?) looks so..."*explodes*" XDD ^^ Anyway, the character looks gorgeous. Your shading is just marvelous. I love the background in the picture. The sky is beautiful and the reflection (I do believe?) of the Metropolis in the BG. ^^ Anyway, thanks for the Tutorial. I think others need it too! :3 (Like ME!)

What really interests me is the backround. Never have a seen something so transparent. It's so beautiful! Bwah, I'd say more but I really wanna sleeep..
You've done the lighting very wll with all those colours and such, and I must say, I am amazed at how much detail you can put on.
But the background, oh it's so wonderful. I can see the simplicity of the building thingies and I am pretty sure I know how you did it, but it's the colours. The colour of the wolf person really goes well with the purples.
I also love how you did the birds, their wings are so nicely done. ^^ The stringies in the cape also are really nice.
I hate to critisize but it looks like the light source is coming from the top left but some of the lighting on the cape is on the right, unless if he is turned then the angle should be more emphasized. Ooh big word. >=3
Ar, but anyway, it's really nicely done. Keep up the good work! <3

Oh also, I think it's the number of strokes you use on the picture that makes the animation so much larger than normal. So I think if you use more single strokes then it'll be fine. I really don't know, it's just.. a.. an inference. ^^;

I'm pretty sure I explained how I did the transparent effect just drew the buildings verry simple like on layer 1 and then used the white rectangle

as for lighting it's off on alot of places but I'm not going to mess with it anymore I'm not great with solids and I already layerunited

it's actually comming from the upper left but it's behind him

But I /tried/ to do the tutorial thing. The words are way too fast.

Hi I'm a weird new person kinda thingy I'm pretty darn sure no one knows me on here but thats alright it's understandable because I'm not really known for drawing Sonic fanart or furry art in general but eh every once and a wile you might see me on here depends though because I dislike drawing on boards with low data size limits

I drew this because I was requested to draw Tails for a friend so I figured the best palce to do so was on here

Edit: LOL mo ome told me I forgot to color in his nose.... also fixed his eyes for that one person...

the fur detail and the BG holy crap the background TToTT so undescribable... its jus.. so relistic, REALLY the rocks too DX;; zomg, everything loks so awesome, though wut bugs me is Tails's legs arms' and the eyes pretty much o.o;; it i dunno, doesnt fit in with the subperb realistic in here O.o but holy shit...
now THIS, THIS i hope gets Archive, so deseraveble... its so smooth and real x.x;; holy crap

lovley...thats just beautiful!! one of the best things I have seen recently! Please please! Draw more!! This deserves to be archived right now!!! the detail is just amazing! I am really really impressed! the proportions are very well done and the fur is just realisticly done so well! the eyes are so beautiful...and the bacground is just awesome...I really dont know what else to say...

Hehe... well, on this board, usually a crit means you're a damn good artist XP If people see you as a "serious" artist, they will assume you want the criticism, so they actively look for something to crit :3
